Limelight

So tonight was TKGSSB Limelight concert at Esplanade with Azuraaaaaa and boy, they really put up a great concert!☺☺☺ Generally a really good repertoire, a good mix of everything but of course, taxing on the players. A few familiar pieces..... Hands Across the Sea, The Lion King, Kpop Medley, American Graffiti, I Vespri Siciliani (I think? Not sure about the full title but it's a Giuseppe Verdi piece!) and not forgetting a piece close to my heart currently, Armenian Dances (Part 1)! It was definitely odd to hear Armenian cause we are also currently playing that piece hahahaha! 

The first half was heavy la in my opinion (Armenian Dances and the Verdi piece was played right after the other) but well delivered. My favourite has got to be the Verdi piece that was also played at NBC where they clinched the Gold Award and topped the 1st Division! So proud of these juniors! So, salutes to this batch of juniors for delivering an enjoyable concert and it was worth every penny! Well done TKGSSB!

Had a great time singing along to the band pieces omg good old days in TKGSSB! Cheering and screaming our lungs out after each piece is played and more screaming when Ms Sia comes out to conduct! Sitting right smack in the middle of the second row from the front screaming hehe #proudtobeatkbandgirl Awwwww Mr Ong is so adorable really, we shook hands with him! So cute! 

Watching this concert made me realised how much I really miss TKGSSB and watching Ms Sia conducting the band from such a close distance brings back so much memories :') Wanna play in this band just like the old days pretty please?

And omg Daphne is in Singapore asdfghjkkhfsasdfghjkljhgsdfghjkl I am so surprised and beyond happy to see her. Was queuing up with Azura to buy her drink and she told me to look behind and there Daphne stood behind the glass panel looking at me with those eyes omg I cannot believe what I was seeing. I really thought she was still in UK. This silly girl kept mum about her return since last Sunday! Pure evil. Hugged her right away but still in disbelief. Miss you :( Seeing you did make my night though!

Really glad I came for this concert tonight x
