And that's me. Babysitting my favourite boy, who calls everyone "Mama" cause that's the clearest word he can say. Along with other baby talk that is really adorable. Especially when he camps outside my bedroom and screams "Woo woo". His attempt at calling me Nurul. Cute right?
That's how life is ever since I'm done with the other contract that ended earlier than it should have. I'm glad it did cause I was getting sick of the job. Was working with a great bunch of people at this telesurveying job and we all got pretty comfortable with each other. I must say I really enjoyed the company. There's Alvin, yes met yet another Alvin... HAHA and he's from TP too. He's hilarious, plus his "The Rock" antics. And Syafiqah, who is my "bring home packed lunch cause there's no halal food" buddy. Friends at work really brightened up my day cause work can get dull and demoralising when you can't hit the damn numbers zz. Friendly competitions between one another, imitating each other introduction over the phone. Not forgetting our whatsapps when we're on call. #badass
Previously, I was working as a Liasion Officer (first job after being a free bird for quite some time...). An event job at MBS. I must say it was such a great experience cause I was liaising with Koreans! Really honoured to be working with such high ranking people!!! I swear they are damn polite and you can't even get angry at them..... It's a long story but I'm glad I was assigned a Korean delegate. Despite the language barrier, we really bonded over the short span of time. He knew he was giving me such a hard time... But he made up for it along with his apologies :') When we couldn't understand one another, we communicated through the translator app on his phone LOL. From the first awkward bus ride to the time we enjoyed the scenery, talking about life and lastly, the part when he did a heart shape once he got into the departure hall. That almost made me cry. Good times. The sweetest thing he did, other than the heart shape thingy was that he promised me to learn English again. Awww. We even did some sight seeing! Meanwhile at Merlion Park....
On one of the nights we brought them around to eat and enjoy the night scenery!
Last night with the lovely Koreans :(
And now I'm just glued to my bed. Watching Suits. Omg Suits is so awesome. Why did I only watch it now... Finishing Season 2 pretty soon!! Well, this is a life of a girl who is still waiting for her graduation. About a month away actually. Yay or nay? Not exactly psyched... happy to graduate, most definitely but after this, it's just a whole new chapter to adulthood. Adulthood seems like a pretty intimidating thing. Pfffft, can I please be a teenager till forever, please?
But before you go, here's one of the awesome songs I've come across while watching Suits! XX
