Inability to say no could possibly be a charm

Watched The Sally's gig with my favourite army boy (possibly the only one of the few I know of.....) last night! It'd always been so impromptu when it comes to meetups with Mark so this is one of them. Rushed down after my Seoul Garden buffet with my 4+1, so I came smelling like bbq smoke. 

Ok, actually I had no idea I was watching The Sallys..... So as I approached the venue, I was pretty shocked cause I heard the singer singing a Malay song. I knew that Mark's friend was playing so I assumed it was gonna be a local band singing English songs. Following that, I heard a trumpet. And then, a trombone O.O Joined in the crowd and soon after, I found him in the sea of Malays (that's not a racist remark cause I am Malay HAHA). Damn, they're good. They sound pretty good live. I simply love the fact that they're a ska reggae band. Super cool. With the trumpet and the trombone (girl trombonist whoop whoop girl power), it's like a breath of fresh air. Like you'd usually hear the solo of the electric guitar, but just now the solos were by the trombone and trumpet!!! Maybe cause I'm a band geek but seriously, I was impressed. Hey, even Mark enjoyed the songs that were mostly Malay songs!!! THERE WAS AN ENCORE TOO. I honestly thought encores were only for band concerts *facepalm* So after the gig ended, we went to meet his friend who is the drummer of the band *_____* There was this cute fun fact that he told us, that they used to be called Sally's Rejects. Cute name, isn't it? 

Spent the trip back home laughing and poking fun at one another, no better way to end such a lovely night. This was a first, watching a gig there. Hopefully I'd get to watch more! Pretty nice to just chill with great music and the amazing night view. Truly enjoyed tonight cause it's so musically engaging (catch up with my band homies, fav flautist and the performance by The Sallys). Till then, goodnight.

I'm so glad I didn't turn it down when he asked me out. Cause right now I'm still very happy just at the thought of it so I'm just gonna sink in this possibly short-lived lingering joy. I wouldn't want to miss out on anything just because.
