Blessed Nineteenth ♥

K honestly, I was dreading my birthday for numerous reasons. One, I refuse to be another year closer to the big 20! I know it's indeed childish of me....... But you know, I just wanna stay a teen forever ✌

That childish thought aside, boy, my nineteenth birthday was full of surprises indeed. Definitely unexpected. I guess with time, as you grow older, a birthday will just be like any other ordinary day. I am thankful that I've grown another year older and yes, Alhamdulillah for all these wonderful blessings in my life.

Since I'm no longer on internship, I WAS STILL ASLEEP AT 11AM! Can't help but to be a pig when I've still got the chance to. Woke up to a cake and a stash of chocolates on the table right beside my bed! Literally ran out of the room to give my mum a big big bear hug! HAHAHAHA my mum "Eh you haven't bathe!" My lovely parents :') My mum even kept saying the night before, 'I won't be doing anything for you okay? Don't expect anything ah". So serious shit I wasn't expecting anything either. Like hello, I'm 19 already #old #lastyearbeingateen #deepsigh

Yummy chocolate cake with strawberry milk chocolate from my awesome parents! I kept the cake right after taking the photo well cause, I was fasting :p  Mmm pardon the #Ijustwokeuplook haha! My eyebags o.o Additionally, my right eye was swollen and red. Meh.

And then I went back to bed to nua for awhile more, because I can ☺☺☺

Got up slightly before 1 to bathe and get ready to meet my bitches. Got a call later on saying that Bai and Syaf cannot make it....... So it was just gonna be me and Arina. Fake sia hahahahaha I know them too well already hehe. I didn't exactly knew what the plan was but I knew Syaf and Bai would be there la! Arina said she would be picking me up in a taxi so I went down looking for a taxi but none was in sight. Kept looking around like an idiot till this boob called me. "Keep walking straight, and turn to your right"

AND THERE THEY WERE IN A CAR O.O I WAS GENUINELY SURPRISED TO SEE THEM IN A CAR. Like whoah where did the car come from!!! Cause on the phone Arina asked me for my address and all, sounds legit that she was in a taxi to come fetch me no???

So we were driving around town with the girls I love ~

 

Stopped by Ikea and Giant cause we all didn't know where to go! 

  

And then to Eastpoint to get Syaf's fish soup for her family's buka

We had no exact place to go in mind so we just kept driving and driving! Plus we were fasting, hence it was rather difficult since usually we would we met for food. We wanted to go Changi City Point to lepak but lol we ended up not going there cause we couldn't find the parking lots! We did but didn't know how to get in...... HAHAHAHAHA. Well, we ended up driving through some business park lanes lol. So we just drove around here and there which was really fun cause I had always wanted to be in a car with my favourite girls ^^ A great start to my birthday indeed, I love you three so much! Bai then dropped me at TP where there was another surprise awaiting ;)

Up next is Surprise #2 for the day! I was sitting right beside Winnie at the Koi pond just chatting, asking how her presentation went etc etc till 3 boys came by with an Elmo helium balloon, a huge birthday poster-like card and a lighted birthday cake :') MY SUPER SWEET BOYS FROM THE SECTION ;_______; I had an inkling that something was amiss judging from the texts I got from Dyon and Paul. And that sudden text from Lucas! I'm terribly sorry that I ruined your plans........ Still, I am really touched that you all put in so much effort for this surprise. I totally didn't expect that cause you know..... my sectionmates are guys what! HAHAHAHA I'm so touched you all did so much for me. Many hugs for you three lovely, annoying boys. SHOUTOUT TO PAULMINDER SINGH, DYON YIP JIA HAO AND LUCAS YUEN WEN HAO, I LOVE YOU BOYS.

I already feel so loved from the two surprises and yet there's still another one ;___; I honestly thought it was just going to be a simple birthday dinner with my darlings (4+1) to do some catching up since we haven't seen each other for quite some time already. So what happened was......... Me and Winnie were already at Parkway for dinner but the other 3 were still either caught up at work or late. Winnie was so good at covering up for the other 3 and I truly believed we were just going to have dinner! Thing is, she kept she didn't know where we were gonna have dinner though lolololol. Eventually, we had a romantic dinner for two at Coffee Bean since the rest of the restaurants were packed or had a long line of customers waiting. It was a really nice dinner with Winnie, in fact we spent quite some time together, asking/answering 19 random questions (as suggested by Winnie since it was my 19th) while waiting for the rest!

During the dinner, I had a call from Robyn! I was truly surprised and touched she called me to wish me happy birthday. Had a short chat and found out she was flying to Scotland to further her studies. All the best dear! :) Then she said, "I have another surprise for you" and she passed to the phone to the person next to her and he said, "Hello, do you..." I cut him off and screamed "OMG BERTRAM IT'S YOU?!?!" He cut me off too, "Omg what the fuck how did you..." HAHAHAHAHAHA chatted with him too and boy, I was so delighted to get that birthday call!

Contented with dinner as I'd always wanted to try their range of pasta. Not bad but I still prefer pastas served in Pastamania! I miss having pastas there :'(

My 3 darlings, Alvin, Joleen and Valerie finally came afterwards ^^ I thought we were heading off to another place to have dinner since all of us were already here. Instead, I WAS BLINDFOLDED (!!!!!) and they dragged me to one floor to another saying, "There's someone you're going to meet". Trust me, I was so anxious at that moment to know who it was cause I genuinely had no idea who I was about to meet. I was trying to figure out if the 5 of us had other mutual friends......... Well we do have other mutual friends. I had one in mind. Well, that was part of my wishful thinking. It was a birthday wish actually :/ *hides face* Hmm, nevermind that wishful wish. I really was so nervous I don't even know why. I bombed them with never-ending questions regarding the guy/girl/people I am supposed to meet in a few moments. We even ended up at Best Denki?!?!?! LOL THESE FRIENDS OF MINE...... I was super insecure with the blindfold on cause I am so clumsy I might just trip and die LOL. Next thing I knew we were walking in the carpark. All my life, even when I was in TKGS, I'd never been in PP's carpark! That random thought aside, then I got into a car....... Val said we were in a taxi. I believed her for a moment then the "taxi driver" was too quiet. So, I knew we were in Alvin's car!!!! (Yay, yes, I'd always wanted to be in Alvin's car too ^^) I was such a bitch #nothingnew so I kept asking so many questions, yet again.

"Why I never hear you say where we going to the uncle?"
"I told him earlier already la before you got in"

"Eh why the taxi driver so quiet one!"
"He don't like to talk ma!!!"

"Why he never talk, or ask why I'm blindfolded?"
*POKES "TAXI DRIVER" RELENTLESSLY*
"Or hor, Asyiqin, Uncle angry already!!!"

At one point, I heard the "Uncle" said "Shut up la" HAHAHAHAHAHA ALVIN! I really poked him  as he drove cause I knew it was him. But he kept so silent. Poor boy. I was in between two bodyguards too, Winnie and Joleen, ensuring my blindfold was on at all times :(

We finally reached our destination and they removed my blindfold! Yay! Took me awhile to realise that we were at....... SIGLAP. SIGLAP MEANT ONLY ONE THING TO ME...... UDDERS!!!!! ^^

After our yummy ice cream and waffles at Udders, we got back in the car and aimlessly drove to head somewhere to play with sparklers :) Somehow, we ended on a route that was leading to my house. Hahahahaha so yes, sparklers at my void deck till midnight as we chatted the night away. Thank you (4+1) for the surprise, for baking till midnight...... Awwww why you guys so sweet :')

THE FOLLOWING DAY WAS A SWEET SURPRRISE FROM MY SIBLINGS AFTER BUKA! Plus a lovely birthday song from my adorable 3 year old nephew, Keyan :)

A week after, I finally got to meet up with Arra after such a long time. She just came back from Malacca and she had the time to bake a rainbow cake for me!! Omg so sweet no? :') I am damn honoured to get a cake that Arra baked cause her history with baking is....... HAHAHAHAHA.One time, we baked together. Next thing we knew was her sister came running into the room telling us there is smoke coming from the kitchen!!! LOL that was a few years back la but still! Always had a good laugh over that each time it's brought up.

We were going to head for buka together and to my (not so) surprise, Saufi was at my void deck! Hahahahaha not so surprised cause Saufi had always been around during my birthday celebrations! But, I was still shocked to some extent. Cause he was at my void deck O.O There he was with boxes of pizza and drinks :) SO YES WE BUKA AT THE VOID DECK ^^ #macammatdanminah Food is always extra yummy with awesome company. Following that, we lepak at East Coast Beach! Gosh, I am seriously thankful for these two cause they'd been there listening to me ramble nonsense all the time. This lepak belated birthday session was simply ♥. They're busy with work and still have time for me, so thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.

These amazing people in my life. All you people who wished and made my birthday extra special, thank you very much ♥♥♥ I can't thank you guys enough, really. I couldn't ask for more, this was beyond what I had imagined. To be really honest, I wasn't expecting much cause I really felt that it was going to be another ordinary day in my life. Just another year older. Alhamdulillah. I love you all so much and I am thankful that Allah has blessed me with such amazing people in my life. It had been a rather rocky road lately, I admit I had my fair share of angst etc etc but then I realised all these..... I could wish for certain things but they may not come true just yet. Maybe, it's not the time yet. So, count my blessings and be contented with life!
