Disappearing act

Hello! This space has been left alone for about 2 weeks no? Well, my schedule had been pretty tight. Internship, projects and band practices. Bitch please, that sounded so much like excuses!!! I was just plain lazy. Lazy to even switch on my laptop on some nights. Those nights, I just crash on to my bed and sleep my night away. Anyways, my thoughts were incoherent.....  Be it important or trivial, it's all tangled up right up there.

So yes, quick updates (or more like what I can recall hahaha)!

My 4 month internship has come to an end

Mixed feelings definitely☺☹ It would definitely be odd that now I'll be bored for a few weeks or so. That I won't be in the office nor the kitchen. Sigh, what I would miss the most is the incredible QA/R&D team that I was very fortunate to be working with during this internship.

SIBF 2012

It's my first time competing with the band in this competition and it had been such a great exposure! All these years, I've only competed in NBC and SYF so taking part in this was truly an eye-opening experience! I feel that the band had definitely grown from this and I personally am proud of us :) 

Hmm it was definitely a different feeling to this though, cause most of my close batchmates aren't around ☹ Plus, I was on internship so it felt.... Odd? I can't exactly describe the feeling but it's different. But, being in the third year makes me just want to treasure every moment in this band. Cause it's coming to an end soon. Hmmm. The Dark Knight Rises
Caught it with intern bestfriend on the night it was released :) Oh damn it was so good! I think Ahani has been influencing me with all these comic stuffs and I've grown to be more receptive about all these superheroes. The movie was a w e s o m e. No spoilers no spoilers. But, all I can say is the long duration wasn't a wee bit draggy at all! It was worth it definitely, coming from a non fan. Mad love for Joseph Gordon Levitt. Was so excited each time he appeared just cause..... He's a cutie ^^ I'm so glad I watched it, even though I was rather clueless about the previous Batman movies......... What's new? Anyways, did you know that Bane is actually the cute British guy in This Means War? I bet you didn't. So go catch it if you still haven't!!!

I think I'm retarded cause I ended up watching Batman Begins like a few days after the movie. And currently rewatching The Dark Knight. Or maybe I'm just bored boohoo.

Let the baking begins
I am somewhat back to my baking path after a semi hiatus. Baked black bottom cupcakes and Rice Krispies  Treat. I must say that I'm a little rusty. Need to brush up on my baking skills.

I wanted to give you some initially but I really ran out of cupcakes. It's odd not giving you any cause you'd always be one of the first to try it :(

Adventure Part I
One adventurous night was all it took. We were out on our own to get a taste of Udders!!!!!! We were exactly sure of our directions so...... it was an adventure indeed. So we took the train, bus and did a bit of walking and there it was! Pretty accessible. Little did I know that it was there all along T.T Haha! But, the crowd at the shop was insane. Sigh. So we went walking down the street, finding a place that we could dine in. Given the fact that it was pretty late and dinner wasn't served already at some shops, we went into The Royals Cafe for some cakes! Not too bad. The main course looked pretty appetising too. Should come back to this place :) And then we headed back for Udders! GOT SOME PEANUT BUTTER AND D24 DURIAN ICE CREAM. Mine was the D24 and it's so bloody yumz. Durian is always good. Durian + Ice cream = Instant happiness!!! Here's to more late night adventures ahead!
