As I lay awake on a cold night

Kinda just ended the video call lol it was funny cause we were singing and trying to figure out what songs to sing! Pretty enjoyable :D I haven't gone online on fb for a long time, so I just found out about the video calling function. HAHAHAHAH k abit slow. Okay maybe very slow. Whoopsie.

Hmmm so took the retest in the afternoon today! I really hope I will get all the right answers this time round. I don't wanna sit for a re-retest lol. I seriously find it annoying that we have to retake the test just cause we didn't get a perfect score. Sigh. Oh woke up late. I snoozed the alarm till 8. Then switched it off. Thank goodness Amanda texted me at 8:18 or else.......... Walked into the LT at 9.40 #likeaboss when I was supposed to be there at 9! Thank goodness I didn't get scolded. Didn't get to see my girls off either. Sad. Hope they're doing fine over at Cameron Highlands!

Spent some alone time in the library since there was band afterwards. Proud of myself cause I did some amendments to the proposal and came up with an edited version crossword already. With the template that was done from scratch #majorachievement Not much but it feels good to get work done on the first day of the holiday!

Met Val and Alvin afterwards :) Thank you for coming earlier!!! If not I would really be forever alone hahahahahahaha. Sad. And omg Alvin brought his new case and it's really pretty. So fucking c h i o. It never, ever crossed my mind that a trumpet case would look so pretty. Just like the suitcases they carry to Platform 9 3/4. So Harry Potter-ish and I love it :D It's not even mine hahahahahaha but seriously it's damn pretty! So cute to carry it around!!!

Oh oh Shermmz came for practice today! Played the electric bass for the band. Really glad to have him around cause it makes me feel like I am in TKGSSB. I miss having String Basses and the electric bass behind me :( I get this sense of security when they're around. Since I get lost pretty easily. Hehehehehe. Plus it keeps me in tempo! Sight read Ponyo and Instant Concert ;) It was a good first practice I suppose. Since I enjoyed playing the pieces so yay.

A very familiar tune, but the emotions come rushing in at 1:40 and that's where it caused a stir in my emotions. It's so moving, I felt like crying :'(  It's so beautifully played. The beauty of it, to me, is the distinct contrast in the piece? How it starts off really bubbly and lighthearted, then it sinks into a sudden rush of melancholy. The orchestra joins in, bringing the level of intensity much higher. It then goes back to the initial happy theme that was played earlier on. Hmmmm lol so much like a music analysis but a bit fail ah. I think I must be too tired I may be going on and on...... But I really like the part from 1:40 to 2:30. Mad love for it. I keep repeating the part lol.
